  ANDREW B GILL
PhD FRSB

Andrew Gill is an internationally recognised expert in applied marine ecology who has over 28 years of experience, with particular expertise in the interactions between aquatic animals (freshwater, coastal, and marine) and renewable energy developments.

Since the early 2000's, Andrew has led projects in the UK, the EU and the USA to analyse the interaction between mobile species and energy emissions (specifically EMF - electromagnetic fields and underwater noise). The approach taken is field-based and experimental studies supported by contemporary knowledge base set within the ecosystem approach and environmental risk context.

Andrew has applied his knowledge and expertise to advising on EIAs and he serves on a number of international committees associated with offshore and marine renewable energy and the marine ecosystem.
